Whenever someone asks about where to get free fonts, I mostly tell them Google Fonts and Fontshare. Both of those resources offer beautiful fonts, all open-sourced and available to everyone.

Like other people, I’ve found some of my favorites on both of these sites. I’ll show you a couple of them in this blog post (in no particular order). Maybe you’ll find some good ones here. So without further ado, let’s check some out.

Inter

Inter is a carefully designed sans-serif typeface made for screens and can be used everywhere (aside from screens). Looking at the letters, it looks very similar to Helvetica, one of the most celebrated fonts from Monotype.

Space Grotesk

Colophon Foundry supplies one of the best fonts in the market. One of which is their free font, Space Mono. But this font, Space Grotesk, retains Space Mono’s distinctive features while maintaining readability.

The result is a proportional sans-serif version of Space Mono, perfect for headlines and body text. However, it doesn’t support italics, but that’s okay.

Manrope

Manrope is a modern sans-serif font designed to be made for a variety of purposes, from print to screen. According to the font’s description on Behance, it’s a crossover of different font types.

It’s like Inter, but a little funky.

Satoshi
